Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan meets UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

On 4 May 2016, H.E. Mr. Khalaf Khalafov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with H.E. Mr. Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, in Geneva.

The sides exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). During the meeting, among others, the human rights aspects of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, including restoration of violated fundamental human rights of over 1 million Azerbaijani IDPs and refugees were discussed.
